KCF – Season of Change

By May 30, 2017NEWS

To our dearest Kirkland CrossFit family.

Kirkland CrossFit was established in August 2008 with Mike Morris, Jeremiah Ingersoll, and John Burrow, our first location opened its doors in October 2008 in a space that was about 1800 square feet with only 5 rowers. Since that time we have shared life with many of our community members in many ways; from job opportunities, networking, weddings, growing families, physical transformations, vacations, and even shared the loss of loved ones. In all, this has been a very special community that we have enjoyed from the beginning and feel blessed that you have entrusted us with your health and wellness.

The ownership of KCF is now at a place where we need to pass the reigns to the next chapter of success to an energetic group that can take the good and make it greater. This is an exciting time in our organization and now we’ll get some fresh legs runnin’ with this thing as new owners. When we shared our exit strategy with the ownership group we made it clear that we desired an internal transaction to keep our community intact.

We are pleased that three of our trainers have partnered together as the new face of Kirkland CrossFit, Armenta, Jamie Cantu, and Erica Gamble. These three women are passionate about this gym, have been longtime supporters and trainers at Kirkland CrossFit, and they have a vision of taking KCF into the next season – that is long overdue. We are thankful that we are able to exit from an ownership and still be active participants and members of this awesome community.

To that end, on behalf of the Kirkland Fitness Group, LLC; John Burrow, Jeremiah Ingersoll, Josh Pratt, Leif Jensen, Walt Winter, Katie Winter, Rich King, Ryan Fox, and Dave Todd, thank you for a life-changing adventure with us!!
